In an exclusive Sports Fitness interview Nic Bideau talks about coaching distance runners, the international running scene and the state of running in the UK

Nic Bideau is one of the world’s most successful coaches.

He is coach to Craig Mottram who recently defeated Kenenisa Bekele over 3K at the World Cup. But he also has involvement with many other elite athletes as a coach, agent and mentor.

In an exclusive interview with Sports Fitness he has talked about how to get the most out of a distance runner, the essential racing skills many athletes are lacking and the state of distance running both globally and in the UK, where he is based for much of the year.
