The Gyro 10k takes place on a fast, flat, picturesque course along the banks of the Thames between Chiswick and Hammersmith. There will also be a 1k fun run for family and children. All of the money raised goes to SportsAid, and directly benefits young athletes. SportsAid works with the national governing bodies of sport to identify young athletes and help them to achieve their sporting potential. This intervention is often the difference between a talented athlete staying with their chosen sport or quitting, it's as simple as that.Running in the Gyro 10k is your chance to help the next generation of British sport. You'll also get the chance to meet some SportsAid alumni, and discover the difference that the funding they received as budding sportspeople made to their whole career.The entry fee includes a free barbeque for all runners.
