| Mud Madness is a new breed of mass participation sport that has never been done in Ireland before. Other events such as Tough Guy and the Grim Challenge have proved extremely popular in England and beyond, growing at extraordinary rates with entries going almost as quick as Pink Floyd tickets. Basically it is a race through the country, over, under and in mud, water, marsh, woods, ditches, walls, cargo nets, tyres etc. I like to see it as Krypton Factor for the masses. The aim is simply to finish it as the course has been designed to make finishing pretty difficult, but this is where the fun lies and why thousands rush to do these types of events. If you are the type of person that is keen to try something once and wouldn't mind a break from the pressure and stress of life for a day, then why not give Mud Madness a go. It doesn't matter whether you cross the line first or last, it is totally about the experience. Why not grab a few friends or work colleagues and form a team under whatever name you want. If you are feeling really daring, why not make it even more fun and do it in fancy dress. You never know, it may pay off! |

If you suffer from any conditions which would normally hinder your ability to perform physical excercise properly, or are induced by physical excercise, you must consult your doctor prior to the event.
