The Maximum Heart Rate Test

ONLY UNDERTAKE THIS TEST IF YOU ARE COMPLETELY SURE YOU ARE HEALTHY TO DO SO. IF YOU HAVE ANY DOUBTS SPEAK TO YOUR DOCTOR BEFORE TAKING THE TEST.

You should not take this test if you are unwell or know of any reason related to your health that might make it unwise - it is dangerous to do so as it is a test to exhaustion.

Neither should you take the test if you are tired - this can have an impact on the maximum heart rate your record and so make all the calculations based upon it wrong.

You will need a heart rate monitor. If it records the maximum heart rate reached this is ideal.

I confirm that I am fit and healthy enough to take a maximum heart rate tests. My doctor/physician is happy for me to undertake this test.
