If running races does not seem like your idea of fun then have a re-think. Our calendar will guide you to events that are suitable for a beginner or someone looking for a different challenge.
The great thing about running is that it is a sport that covers a huge variety of events - everyone can find a race that is suitable for them. Whatever you are looking for you will find a listing in our race guiderace guide that suits you.
It is completely free to search for all types of event in our online race diary and once you have found the right event for you it’s a case of entering and writing the race in your diary.
Once your entry has gone in you will have an extra reason and motivation to go out training, whether the target you have chosen is a 5K race for beginners, a 10K or a marathon.
If you regularly run road races why not try a different event? Keep an open mind as to what type of event you are looking for.
